Zambia – Livingstone 赞比亚利文斯敦 11/2018 Stop 18 站

8-9/12/2018. After seeing Victoria Falls, my next destination was Botswana, my sixth country in Africa. From the town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, I crossed into Zambia a second time, at Livingstone, to get to Botswana. How often do we get to walk from our hotel with our luggage, crossing a bridge over a gorgeous waterfall, enthralled by the rushing water under the bridge, taking our own sweet time to take selfies and loiter around the dividing line, taking in the scenery, before clearing customs and entering another country? I was kind of like in a no-man’s-land, left to my own designs; neither here nor there, not beholden to anyone. The coolest border crossing ever! I wish you could have joined me strolling across the bridge, a super cool moment in life. From this confluence, I cast my eyes on the sixth country on Botswana. Maybe one day I will get to do the same monkeying around at the 38th parallel.

I arrived in Livingstone by early afternoon, settling into another camp. Livingstone is a border town on the river’s Zambia side, serving as a transit point for me into neighboring countries.

 8-9/12/2018维多利亚瀑布大开眼界后我下一站到博茨瓦纳。我需要从维多利亚小城到利文斯敦小城，第二次进入赞比亚境内，才到博茨瓦纳。

我从津巴布韦维多利亚镇的住宿营地拉着包袱步行到两国边境，大摇大摆走上大桥，大桥横跨维多利亚瀑布，桥下是瀑布汹涌大水；我桥上目中无人溜达，尽情自拍自恋，没人阻拦，没人干预，如入无人之境。过了桥，过境手续后，搭上的士就这样轻松进入赞比亚。最酷的一次过境！

中午后就到了赞比亚边界小镇的利文斯敦入住的营地，这镇是到周边国家路经的中转站。在这三国交汇处高噡下一站，探索此行非洲的第六国。
