Namibia – Sossusvlei / Keetmanshoop 纳米比亚索苏维来 / 基普曼斯胡普 12/2018 Stop 26 站

20/12/2018. After three hours at the famous Death Valley and Sossusvlei, I continued my solo drive south in my stud four-wheel-drive at about 1 p.m., driving close to the coast, on a gravel road, almost licking the dust off my lips.

The vast expansive plain, the chic pale green grass that thinly coated the land, the random trees that dotted the landscape, the distant crisp mountains, the bright blue sky that formed the backdrop; cheerful though spartan, colorful but somber, so much to see yet so minimalistic. It was as though I was in a drive-in movie surrounded by a giant movie screen right ahead of me. The desert theme was the same, but the scenes kept changing.

It was a race against darkness—I didn’t want to be stopped and asked, what is a China man doing in the middle of the desert in the dark? Poaching endangered animals? At 6 p.m. I was in Aus, not quite on the main arterial route. I pushed on. The sun was running away from me.

I got to Keetmanshoop past 8 p.m., in the dark and not knowing where to stay or the exact plan for the next day. I took it all in stride; at least I arrived. This was where I was destined to return my hired car, on time. As luck would have it, I somehow managed to find myself a little hotel just meters away from the bus stop where the buses refueled before proceeding south, exactly where I was also heading the next morning. Saved again!

This had been a drive of a lifetime. I was transported to a different world. Just me and this surreal world; no others, no houses, just me, the 4-wheels, the still surrounding, and the dust I left behind. If you are in love, be here, be intoxicated with love, driving into the sunset. If you are not in love, be here. Love yourself.

20/12/2018在死亡谷和索苏斯 (Sossusvlei) 游览三小时后，在下午一点我单独驾驶了四轮驱动种马开始继续靠海岸线往南跑。还尽是碎石路，快马加鞭留下一屁股滚滚沙尘。眼前尽是辽阔平原，铺了一层寸头绿草，那零星的孤树，天边的山脉，蔚蓝的天空，就是简单的美， 素颜的美， 使人如痴如梦的陶醉。我如坐在车场影院，眼前是超大屏幕，一幕一幕好戏连连上演。我在跟夜晚竞跑，不想在黑暗的大沙漠摸索。

风尘仆仆到终点基特曼斯胡普（Keetmanshoop）已是晚上八点多，这里就是要退还一路陪伴三天的露营车。千里迢迢后还不知到那儿睡也不知明天往那儿走。但我福星高照，让我在仓促和黑暗中乱滚乱撞住到一间小酒店，离开往南走的大巴车站就几十米。

这自驾，在斯瓦科普蒙德（Swakopmund）拉开序幕，一路就自己，沉醉专属自己的梦幻世界，人生少有的意境。人生一次不要错过，不要留下遗憾。你如在爱河，带着她到这爱情路上陶醉。你如孤身只影，也到这来，至少爱你自己。
