A colorful desert dusted with light green grass 美丽沙漠撒层浅绿寸草

19/12/2018. Arriving at Sesriem around 3 p.m., I checked into the campsite. Though there was no grass, I loved this sea of sand. Each campervan was given a private parking lot, with its own luxuriant tree providing shade from the desert sun. Electrical outlets were discretely planted on the trees to provide electricity. The theme remained deserty. I gleefully drove to my lot, only to find my tree almost bald. I sat in the shade of the washroom roof sulking. But it was still a blast, to be given a parking lot in the desert with my own tree. It felt exclusive, like having my own celebrity bodyguard.

Soon after, I set out to see the little nearby Sesriem Canyon, then the dunes to watch others watching the romantic sunset. A young couple scaled the tip of a tall dune with a big bottle of wine and two big wine glasses, just for that fleeting romantic moment. As the sun set, the stark contrast of colors and crisp lines became mellow and subtle. The afterglow of sunset provided the candlelight, as though love had descended. This was the place and time to celebrate love and romance.

19/12/2018抵达Siesrem营地时已是下午三点。这营地挺好玩的，脚下无寸草，尽是沙地。每辆露营车被分配自己车位，每车位还有自己的一棵树，好遮荫，也是身份的象征。树身隐蔽栽了电源插口提供便利。整个营地完美保留沙漠主题。我吹着口哨得意忘形把车开到车位，一张眼，没想到我的树几乎秃顶的。那为什么别人的都头发茂盛，我的，我的怎样遮阳呢？只能在一旁的洗手间屋檐下纳闷。不瞒说，蓝天沙地上能有一个像篮球场大的个人车位，专属自己的一棵遮阳，陪自己过夜的树还是很使人兴奋的。

安顿一切后即刻到附近的一个小峡谷走走，接着赶在太阳下山前到沙丘看日落。既然只身孤影，只能看别人看日落。鲜明颜色和清晰线条随日落变得柔和隐约。接着大自然提供浪漫烛光，仿佛爱在降临，给有情人难忘的浪漫。
