Guatape Colombia 哥伦比亚瓜塔佩 – 3/2017 (3)

10/3/2017. After Medellín, I made a day trip to see Guatape, a two-hour drive from Medellín. Guatape would prove to be the icing on the cake. The roads there were truly mountainous. Wow! Guatape was truly numbingly picturesque. It was like the mountains were half-soaked in water, the tops lush with green.

尝过麦德林后我抽出一天到两小时路程外的瓜塔佩去游山玩水。历经一路的山路后，风景如画出现眼前，有山有水，这地方美到使人麻醉，美不胜收，犹如身处天堂。

Another attraction was this big monolithic rock formation that shoots about 220 meters into the sky and climbs 650 steps to reach. The Rock of Guatape, is solid as a rock. Very imposing, indeed! I did not bother to climb the steps. I don’t want to be a rock star.

瓜塔佩另一景点是矗立在山上的这快大石。这大石要攀七百步才到山顶，我实没能力高攀。在这山下，我找到靠山，自己看来像小人。

I basked in the sun and in the beauty at the lakefront a while, then wandered around the Guatape town center, before going up the hills at the back of the town to check out this surprise package. Up on the hills, little humble houses, of ordinary folks, took up positions, each endowed with views worth a million.

我在瓜塔佩镇中闲逛，然后往后面的山坡爬，山上简陋平民房享受无阻挡的窗前美景，山水尽在眼下。这是天赐的，不需一辈子劳碌争取。

Guatape is well known for its colorful houses. On a bright sunny day, under the baby blue sky, the placid lake, this generous display of bright colors just liven up everything and everyone. It was tranquil, and it was painted all over with cheerfulness.

瓜塔佩小镇的特色就是这里的房子颜色鲜艳明亮。蔚蓝天空，晴朗天气，青山绿水，炫酷颜色的房子，走进这小镇的确心爽神愉。
